ILV Library - RELOCATED and OPERATING at

Canadian International School in Phu My Hung D-7

Come and enjoy the new venue!!!

Our extensive lending library is claimed to be the largest English language library in Vietnam. You will find best sellers as well as 'romance rags' and plenty in between for your reading pleasure. There is also a growing selection of books in other languages.

The library operates on the “Honor System” for check-in & check-out. Most books can be borrowed for four weeks. Borrowers will please choose  up to 10 books from the shelves, write the names of the books you have taken in the records book, return the books directly to the Library and reshelf your returned books in alphabetical order (not simply stacked on any available shelf, thank you). Old books must be returned before you can borrow more. Books should not be dropped off at Coffee Morning. The new venue will have helpers to assist you with check out and return.

The library has been relocated to the Canadian International School, who have most graciously offered to house our extensive collection in their Teacher Library at SC39-SD40, Panorama Campus, Nguyen Duc Canh Street in Phu My Hung, D-7. To gain access to the library, please, bring along a valid I.L.V membership card. It will be open all school days as well as Saturday mornings for your reading pleasure.

A HUGE thank you to Crown Relocation for, once again, coming to the rescue to pack and move the books and shelves in a timely and efficient operation!!! You're the best.

If you have any questions, concerns or ideas please contact the brains of the operation, our Head Librarian, Maha Itum  or call her on 093 825 0289.

Book donations are always appreciated; however, there are a couple of exceptions. Photocopied books and books with titles such as “The Canadian Tax Laws of 1978” are not!

Stay tuned and we will try to post instructions for using the city busses to access CIS
