              Did you know the water dragon comes on once every 60 years?

What is ILV?  ILV is a social organization of over 400 women from 45 countries living in Ho Chi Minh City.  Our members enjoy a chance to socialize at our weekly coffees and to participate in many cultural, social and sporting activities.  Through member networking, ILV encourages members to seek out opportunities to participate in local projects that help the the community.  Our members are currently involved in teaching English, teaching skills such as Western cooking, visiting orphanages and much more.   ILV members are rewarded by rich friendships and the knowledge they have given back to the community.

How can you join ILV?  We extend a warm invitation to join ILV at the Sherwood Residence every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. for our weekly coffee morning. Guest speakers are brought in regularly, speaking on subjects important to life in Vietnam.  Evening ILV meets once a month. Please feel free to come to either or both meetings, as your schedule permits.   ILV membership is available to ladies of all nationalities and renewable annually.  With your paid membership, you will enjoy a welcome pack, Saigon Guide, Cookbook, Restaurant Guide, Newsletter, access to the ILV Library where members can check out books for free, outings, activites.

New or moving to Ho Chi Minh City? If you are new to Vietnam or interested in joining ILV, we encourage you to browse our website and review the membership information on the CONTACT US page. Please contact us with as much information as you would like to share, so we can welcome you and answer any questions you may have. We would like to help with your transition by introducing perspective members to current members with similar areas of interest, children's age, backgrounds, etc. Hopefully many of your questions will be answered before you arrive in HCMC and you will already have a friend here to greet you! ILV is about expats caring for each other and developing a sense of community.
